Consent to the collection and use of information
Terms & Conditions
1. Purpose of the Agreement
This agreement is made for the purpose of establishing the terms and procedures for using eSIM/USIM in South Korea between Y CONNECT KOREA, INC. (hereinafter referred to as the 'Company') and the eSIM/USIM customer (hereinafter referred to as the 'Customer').
2. Conclusion of the Agreement
ⓐ When ordering a product, the Customer must submit information that matches his/her passport information.
ⓑ The Customer can receive the SIM card and use incoming/outgoing voice/texts after the passport information has been verified at the SKT roaming center at the airport.
ⓒ The Customer who holds foreign passport can verify his/her passport information online and then use incoming/outgoing voice/texts.
ⓓ The Customer must enter into a product order (use) agreement by agreeing to present his/her identification (passport) to receive a SIM card and use incoming/outgoing voice/texts.
ⓔ The following applications will not be accepted:
1) Application made under another person’s name, or if the Customer is not the person himself/herself, or refuses to verify his/her passport information.
2) If the submitted documents or information are false or the authenticity of the presented identification and certificate is not verified.
3. Company’s Obligations
ⓐ The Company will do its best to inform the Customer of the main contents of the Agreement and matters that Customer needs to know regarding the use of the Service.
ⓑ The Company or the Korea mobile service provider will check the Agreement information and verify the identification(passport only) for using the Service in South Korea.
ⓒ The Company is makings its best efforts to protect personal information.
4. Customer’s Obligations
ⓐ The Customer must not use the Service for purposes other than the Service provision purposes and must not rent or provide the eSIM/USIM to third parties or other person for the purpose of obtaining illicit profits.
ⓑ The Customer must present valid identification (passport) to the Company or the Korea mobile service provider for verifying passport information when entering into the Service contract, and receiving the SIM card, and using incoming/outgoing voice/texts, and must not provide false personal information required for the Service contract.
5. Notice
ⓐ After ordering an eSIM/USIM, the Customer cannot request a refund due to the device being locked or the device not supporting eSIM/USIM.
ⓑ After ordering an eSIM/USIM, the Customer cannot request a cancellation or refund after sending the QR code email or the voucher email.
ⓒ The amount for outgoing voice/texts can be charged within the validity period of the product, but cannot be made upon expiration. The unused balance within the validity period after charging will disappear at the end of the data product's validity period.
ⓓ eSIM/USIM is a short-term rental product with a validity of one year after ordering, and cannot be used after one year.
ⓔ The Customer can enjoy unlimited data at speeds of up to 100 Mbps. The maximum data speed is subject to change without notice.
ⓕ If an illegal, breach of contract, or unfair activities occur due to the Customer’s use of the Service for purposes other than the Service provision purposes(ACT ON PROMOTION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK UTILIZATION AND INFORMATION PROTECTION), the Customer may be held civilly and criminally liable.
ⓖ If the Customer rents or provides the eSIM/USIM to others, the Customer shall be held civilly and criminally liable, and the Customer agrees to take all precautions to prevent such occurrences.
ⓗ The Company or Korea mobile service provider can monitor the use of the Service for the Service provision purposes at all times, and if the Company or Korea mobile service provider determines that the Customer is abusing the Service for purposes other than the Service provision purposes such as registering multiple eSIM/USIM on one device, the Company or Korea mobile service provider can suspend the usage of the concerned number without the Customer's consent.

1. I confirmed that my mobile is unlocked and supports eSIM.
2. I agree that I cannot request a cancellation or refund after sending the QR code to my email.
3. I agree that incoming/outgoing voice calls and text messages are available after the passport information has been verified at SKT roaming center at the airport.
Considerations - YCK eSIM(SKT eSIM)
- YCK eSIM(SKT eSIM) is one of the most reliable mobile communication services and solutions in South Korea.
- To use this service, the country lock on your device must be turned off.
- Please contact your current telecommunications company to make sure that the country lock is off.
- You cannot request a cancellation or refund after sending the QR code of eSIM that you ordered.
- The usage period (2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10/15/20/30/60/90 days) will be calculated in 24-hour increments from the time you activate the eSIM on your phone.
- This eSIM QR codes can be scanned within one year after the order and it cannot be scanned after one year.
- The usage period of this eSIM cannot be extended. If you want to extend, you should order a new eSIM.
- If you delete the eSIM profile, you will need to order a new eSIM to use it.
- You can use mobile data calls such as KakaoTalk and FaceTime unlimitedly during the data usage period.
- This eSIM(Data only) can be used without the passport information verification.
- Incoming/outgoing voice calls and text messages are available after the passport information has been verified at SKT roaming center at the airport.
- You can receive calls and texts within Korea for free of charge, and outgoing call/texts are available upon recharge after ordering the eSIM/USIM.
- Foreign passport holders can complete the passport information verification procedure online after entering South Korea.
- Passport information verification is available for only one product per passport. (Passport information verification is not available for multiple products with one passport)
- Recharges for voice/text outgoing can be made within the validity period of the data product but cannot be made upon expiration.
- The unused charge balance within the usage period will expire at the end of the product's usage period.
- The maximum charge amount within the validity period is KRW 330,000. (VAT included)
- This eSIM is only available in Korea.
- Personal authentication services and text message receipt for payments are unavailable.
- This eSIM is intended for short-term travelers to Korea (within 90 days). Long-term travelers (staying 91 days or more) may face service restrictions.
- If fraudulent use is detected, the service will be suspended without prior notice. In this case, refunds are not available.
